Welcome to the Egusa Lab.
Our research goals are: to pioneer new mechanisms and methodologies for nano-materials synthesis; to understand the physical properties of thus obtained nano-materials; and to use these sophisticated nano-materials to positively contribute to the society. In pursuing these goals, we are not bounded by the traditional disciplines of science.
Our current research interests are:
(1) Synthesis and characterization of nanoclusters
(2) Nanotechnology to improve cancer (leukemia) chemotherapy
(3) Protein-metal complexes
(4) Phase-changing nano-materials
(5) Fluid mechanics at nano-scale
