Participating Departments

Study Stages

The multi-phase study contains the following parts and IRB protocols:
  • Phase 1 A: Exploratory social media analysis (IRB 18-0330)
  • Phase 1 B: Exploratory interviews and focus groups (IRB 18-0333)
  • Phase 1 C: Individual level experiments (IRB 18-0340)
  • Phase 2: Social media network experiments with human interventions (IRB 18-0334)
  • Phase 3: Social media network experiments with chatbot interventions (IRB 18-0334)

Funding

This research is part of a multi-phase study, which is funded by the Department of Defense’s Army Research Office through federal grant #72487-RT-REP.
