One purpose of this study is to mentor first-generation college students and diverse students. UNC Charlotte is a Title III and Title V institution serving students from underrepresented backgrounds, which is one reason why the Department of Defense chose to work with our university for this study.
Our student team made it through a competitive three-stage application process. They are part of the next generation of social science researchers. We love our students and think you will, too! Some of them will be on the job market soon, so feel free to reach out to us if you would like to connect with them. You can learn about the team leadership by choosing that category from the navigation menu.
