Jennifer is currently working as an adjunct faculty for the College of Computing and Informatics, a role she has had for over 10 years. She received her M.S. in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte and also completed Graduate Certificates in Knowledge Discovery in Databases and Health Informatics.
Jennifer worked for a few years off campus as a data analyst for a medical startup and a business systems analyst for a local manufacturing company. She has held multiple roles at UNC Charlotte over the last 20+ years which help her understand different perspectives across campus. She worked for over 10 years in IT on campus with a variety of roles, most recently as the Instructional Technologist in a dual role with the Office of OneIT (College of Health and Human Services and Cato College of Education) and the Center for Teaching and Learning. While she is not an active researcher, she has interests in health informatics/analytics, IT training, and ethics in computer science. She is very passionate about education and enjoys helping others learn new technologies and how to use them to enhance life.
