Objective (s):
To educate K-12 students and the community in general about the principles, benefits and applications of nanotechnology. To reach our goal we are developing an outreach program in our lab called “Think Big Do Nano”.
The first target of this program is put together a workshop
called “Big things from a small world”, which will include presentations and
experiments related with nanotechnology and its applications. This workshop is
going to be presented next year in K-12 schools and science fairs around the
Charlotte community.
