Department of Marketing
- Assistant Professor Nima Jalali’s research interests include digital marketing, social media, and unstructured data analytics. He develops empirical models to gain marketing insights from customer activities and improve digital and social media strategies.
- Chair of the Department, Sangkil Moon, has published research on social media analytics and teaches courses on social media analytics.
Department of Art & Art History
- Associate Professor Maja Godlewska‘s recent research interests include the visual consumption of nature and the phenomenology of the landscape. Her work has been exhibited internationally.
- Professor Heather D. Freeman combines traditional and digital technologies in her artworks, integrating science, mythology, and popular culture. She has taught classes in digital media, including social media analytics.
Department of Psychological Science
- The Health Behavior Change Lab, led by Dr. Erika Montanaro, focuses on using technology and social media in understanding and implementing prevention programs for at-risk youth.
Department of Software and Information Systems
- Assistant Professor of Software and Information Systems, Dr. Shehab, focuses on network and information security, including topics related to security and privacy for 3rd party applications and online social network apps.
- Dr. Dou, a research assistant professor, specializes in visual text analytics, including social media analysis and science impact analysis.
