Chandrasekar Subramaniam joined the Belk College of Business in 2003. Currently he is the BISOM chair. During his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois, he was the recipient of FMC fellowship for his dissertation research. His research projects have been funded by corporations such as Caterpillar, Motorola, and State Farm Insurance and the Center for e-Business and IT Management at the University of Illinois. Dr. Subramaniam has published in several leading journals in information systems and contributed chapters for two books on electronic commerce. Before joining the Ph.D. program, Dr. Subramaniam taught MIS at Bharathidasan Institute of Management, a leading business school in India.
