  • Co –Pi – Quantification of Effectiveness of Pre-Applied Wetting Agents in Prevention of UWI Fire Spread to Structures, Research Proposal to the Department of Homeland Security, Fiscal Year 2007 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, Fire Prevention and Safety Grants, submitted. (Funded Amount $449,609 – 36 mos)
  • PI A Proof-of-Concept Project for the Development of Laboratory Exercises and an Accompanying Electronic Laboratory Manual for a Course in Fire Behavior and Combustion. The project included the development of a series of experiments designed to illustrate the principles of fire behavior and combustion such as heat transfer. The project was completed in February 2009. (Funded Amount $74,999 – 24 mos)
