Mary Jo Shepherd

Mary Jo McGowan is a Teaching Professor and Undergraduate Director in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at UNC Charlotte.  She teaches courses in American Public Policy. Dr. McGowan is also Director of the American Studies minor.

Dr. McGowan’s research interests are in Public Policy, Elections Administration, and Women in Politics.
