My research interests include the sociophonetic consequences of dialect contact, the relationship between phonetic/phonological theory and sound change, the phonetics-phonology interface, geolinguistic diffusion of accent features, ethnic identity and language use, and statistical best practices in sociophonetics

• Theoretical and empirical analysis of vowel shifting in Canadian English
• Marshallese English in Arkansas
