Dr. Dewan T. Ahmed received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada. He completed M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He devised a solution for Peer-to-Peer Massively Multiplayer Online Games and introduced a number of algorithmic solutions for improved gaming experience. He has published over 50 journal, conference and workshop papers at several prestigious venues. He wrote five book chapters published in the Encyclopedia of Wireless and Mobile Communications and the Handbook of Digital Media in Entertainment and Arts. Dr. Dewan was recognized as a meritorious candidate by Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and nominated for Industrial Research and Development Fellowship. He received best student researcher award from Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI), best paper and best poster award. He also received IEEE ICME quality reviewer award.
