Languages and Culture Studies

Overview

Tianran Liu is an experienced international traveler, a dedicated educator of Chinese language and culture, and an executor of student-centered, performance-based, interactional teaching pedagogy. Before UNC Charlotte, she has also had the experience of teaching the Chinese program at Hampden-Sydney College and the Intensive Chinese Summer Program at University of Virginia.

  • M.A. in Linguistics – University of Virginia
  • B.A.  in Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language – Nanjing University, China
  •         International Studies and Education – Kyushu University, Japan
