Sangkil Moon joined the Belk College of Business in 2013 to be part of the university-wide analytics initiative after his ten years of service at North Carolina State University. His research has been published in various leading journals including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing, and European Journal of Marketing. He won the 2002 Marketing Science Institute (MSI) Alden G. Clayton Dissertation Proposal Competition and the 2008 Davidson Award the best paper award by the Journal of Retailing). He has taught courses in Marketing/Consumer Analytics, Innovation Analytics, Marketing Research, and Social Media Analytics for both graduate (MBA and DSBA) and undergraduate students. Dr. Moon is currently serving as chair for the Department of Marketing.
