Paul Fragua

Paul FraguaPaul Fragua specializes in Tribal Community Development including strategic planning, master planning, resource development and technical assistance. Mr. Fragua has over 30 years of combined architectural planning, development and design experience. His professional work and volunteer involvement have provided him with expertise in public relations, communications and resource development. He is well respected for his skills and knowledge by private foundations, state and federal government agencies and by tribal communities and organizations. Mr. Fragua provides technical assistance in advancing Native American social and economic development. Mr. Fragua is a professional registered architect (inactive) and a tribal member of the Pueblo of Jemez located In New Mexico.

Mr. Fragua’s architectural career began over thirty years ago working with a large Southwest regional architectural and engineering firm, specializing in educational facility design and development. Currently his efforts are directed to sustainable design and development and culturally appropriate design and development. Much of his work provides a balance of cultural, social, environmental, and socio-economic factors in planning and development.

Mr. Fragua is an active participant in his tribal community of Jemez. He served as Chairman of the Jemez Health Board, the governing body of his tribe’s self-managed health care services. He is a member of the Wings of America Board, a national American Indian youth development organization
